Jun 17, 2024 · I’ve always loved this series; the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the last movie “A Waltons Easter” was poorly researched and made, filled with glaring inaccuracies. The worst of these was John-Boy anchoring a broadcast of the moon landing on the parents’ 40th anniversary.
Every family has a journey but in those days most families stayed together to weather them out. Eating together as a big family brings so much joy and love even when they are mad at one another or happy. Just live this show and the good feelings it leaves you with. The fact that the actors are a 2nd family to this days speaks volumnes.
