It follows Benjamin Martin, an American colonist who becomes involved in the American Revolutionary War after his son enlists in the army.
I love this film. It has what I believe is one of the greatest combat scenes in cinematic history. When Benjamin Martin and his two younger sons ambush the British supply/prisoner train in the woods, in order to rescue Benjamin's eldest son Gabriel, played by Heath Ledger.
