Wesley Strick wrote the Cape Fear remake, so here he is essentially directing a similar story. And despite him not being a consistent director, he does a fantastic job. With the lovely atmospheric score and great build up that all of these forgotten thrillers bring to the table. Almost every shot is different or creative in some way.
