Jun 25, 2020 · Distant Lands opens many possibilities for Adventure Time, the launch and everything went smoothly. I can't wait to see the future of Distant Lands!!! Obsidian, here we come! The sceneries, backgrounds and art are also gorgeous. Everyone seems to agree with this!

Sep 3, 2021 · I know this is a two year old post but I just watched all of adventure time for the first time in like a month, and I’m so glad I watched the 3rd episode of distant lands last because of this and other posts like it. 3rd should have def been 4th 🥹
May 26, 2022 · Together again was the most phenomenal episode in the history of the entire adventure time series. In my opinion it came close to a tie with the last episode of adventure time (not distant lands). The others were kinda mid tho tbh like the peppermint butler one and the BMO one were a little disappointing but the bubbline one was good.
Apr 11, 2023 · hot take: ATDL was mid. obviously (based on the reactions here) the show is perfectly fine for most people. by no means am i saying any fan of Adventure Time should skip Distant Lands, but my personal dissatisfaction with the presentation of these characters and their stories got in the way of my own enjoyment.

Y5’s family accepting who she is, Marceline accepting the loss of her mom, Finn accepting that he’ll have to wait to see Jake, and Peppermint Butler accepting himself for who he is and wants to be. I think this was intentional to help fans accept the end of Adventure Time. Distant Lands was a great sequel to a great show.

The Dark Wizards are just straight up Chaotic Evil while normal Wizards are just Chaotic. Even Ice King who was the main “villain” for the first part of the show is a joke compared to the Dark ...

Sep 12, 2022 · The order of showing of the two final Distant Lands episodes were swapped. The correct timeline order is BMO, Obsidian, Wizard City and Together Again. In "Together Again", we saw Finn and Jake contacting "PB" from the dead world. The next scene showed Pep But back in his original form.
