He showed me the computer screen and it said "0 available" for all Browning and Ruger pistols. By the way, the wholesale cost of the Browning Buckmark Field Target is $460.

  3. Sep 1, 2024 · I also use Titegroup for mild 38 Super bullseye loads. I think Titegroup is cleaner burning than BE but pretty much interchangeable within a couple of grains for mild bullseye loads. I like N320 for mild 9mm bullseye loads but haven’t used N310 very much. Re: Alliant Bullseye seems to be gone.

Jul 17, 2022 · Re: 38 Special Loads for Bullseye. I would add that the firearm mentioned, a Model 27 S&W revolver is a very durable gun, intended for the hotter loading of .357 Magnum. Therefore, your platform yields a lot of safety cushion with target loads. Many reloading manuals also list an estimated pressure with a given load.

Sep 10, 2017 · Re: 9mm LOADS FOR bullseye. by Wobbley 9/12/2017, 10:37 am. We made up a batch of 9mm training ammo using plated bullets. The load was 5.4 CFEPistol, CCI primers, mixed brass, X-Treme 115 plated. At 10 yards they shot OK but this was for ten-second mag dumps in a 7 inch circle. In my CZ and a SIG they shot well.

  6. Nov 9, 2012 · 4.2~4.4 bullseye. Seat from the shoulder so that about 0.040 of shoulder is exposed. Crimp separately with LFC to 0.469~0.470. Once loaded I put about 200 loaded rounds in a plastic 3lb coffee can. Give it a liberal coating of WD-40 and roll them around so all are coated evenly and any shaved lead is freed up.

I use that recipe for both 200gr and 185gr. I am happy with where the 200gr bullets go for the 50 yard line, and recoil isn't too bad.

  9. Mar 3, 2021 · by Wobbley 3/3/2021, 11:24 am. 4.2-4,5 BE have given me good results. For 231 Winchester had a start load of 5.1 at 760 fps. The good old “Super Match” 185 JSW was about 770-800 fps. So I’d start at 4.5 and maybe go as high as 5.5. If you only have a very few (less than 1000) I’d just load 5.2 231 and go play. Wobbley.

  10. Mar 26, 2024 · Steyr, Pardini, Morini, Walther, and Feinwerkbau all make excellent air pistols. Budget for some means to charge the tanks, as well as the pistol itself. Either a SCUBA tank (if you can get THAT charged at a dive shop) or a hand pump. The bargain option is an Izh-46m, which doesn't need to be charged. you're not the first person to suggest the ...
