Burghart Klaußner (born 13 September 1949) is a German film actor. [1] He received acting training at the Max-Reinhardt-Schule für Schauspiel in Berlin. [2] Klaußner had engagements at Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, Hamburger Kammerspiele and at the theaters in Cologne, Hamburg, Zürich, Bremen and Bochum.

In Berlin geboren, begann Burghart Klaußner 1969 an der Freien Universität ein Studium der Germanistik und der Theaterwissenschaft und ergänzte dieses 1970 durch eine Schauspielausbildung an der Max-Reinhard-Schule Berlin. Sein Debut gab er 1971 unter der Regie von George Tabori in dessen Stück PINKVILLE.
