Sep 24, 2024 · What seems to be an annual lock now, Delaware State University has ranked as a top three Historically Black College and University by the acclaimed U.S. News & World Report College Rankings. The rankings for 2025’s best colleges, which were published Tuesday, lists DSU as the third best public HBCU, and the ninth best overall HBCU.
Delaware State students themselves ranked the university tenth in the peer assessment category. DSU’s enrollment is growing. Last year, total enrollment reached 6,451 students, an increase of 3.5 percent from the previous year and 23 percent since 2020, making DSU the fastest-growing HBCU in the country.
