The breeder is also a trainer for german shepherds and started training the puppies as soon as she could. The puppy will be 12 weeks old when we get him.

Oct 28, 2012 · The oldest GSD I've ever had was Honey who died when she was 13years 9months old. The oldest one I've known of was a former co-worker of mine had one that was 18 (she was sleeping behind his truck and he backed over her and killed her so who knows how much longer she might have lived). Like many of you who read these boards, I've lost several of the Hooligans to this aggressive, often silent, deadly cancer. So I figured I'd start this thread in hopes that others will share their experiences with hemangiosarcoma.
Jul 5, 2008 · Give the dog treats each time you put it on and remove it while fitting it. When you do get the correct fit, talk a nice short brisk walk. A few feet, treat. Ten steps, treat. Eventually the dog learns that good things happen (like walks) when the gentle leader is placed on the head.
