Oct 31, 2021 · Halloween: Resurrection is a bad movie and like what Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers did back in 1995, it ran the franchise into the ground so much that the next installment had to be a reboot (whether that be H20 or the 2007 Rob Zombie remake).
H3 is his Halloween sequel, the one he wanted to make before H2. When H4 came out and H3 wasn’t well received, that was when Halloween became Michael’s franchise. Halloween 78 and H2 are Michael’s films, but at the time it wasn’t his franchise. Ends makes Resurrection look like The Shining.
May 6, 2022 · I actually prefer this over Halloween 6 as the worst in the franchise. With H6, I cannot find a single redeeming quality or something I like. At least resurrection has Busta Rhymes to give it a little heart. Yes his character is so genre blind, but goddamnit if Freddie isn’t charming. 3.
But, Jason goes to hell is an affront to movies. It is by far worse than resurrection. The fact that it is part of an iconic horror franchise, was made by a major studio, and given wide advertising and theatrical release blows my mind thinking about. Sure, resurrection is bad, but come on. 1.

I decided to watch this today, just to see if it stinks as bad as I remember. Seriously, the people involved in creating this abomination should be ashamed.
