Hounslow (/ ˈhaʊnzloʊ / HOWNZ-loh) is a large suburban district of West London, England, 10⁄4 miles (17.5 kilometres) west-southwest of Charing Cross. It is the administrative centre of the London Borough of Hounslow, and is identified in the London Plan as one of the 14 metropolitan centres in Greater London.

Hounslow, outer borough of London, England, on the western periphery of the metropolis. It is part of the historic county of Middlesex and lies in the valley of the River Thames. The borough was created in 1965 by the amalgamation of the former metropolitan boroughs of Brentford and Chiswick and Heston and Isleworth with the Feltham Urban District.
