Jul 2, 2022 · Bear in mind Jason was an angry teenager in the 80's looking for answers while feeling grief and probably not sleeping for days. He knows his sweetheart Chrissy was prior to thag also brutally killed at Eddie's place, the same guy who is the leader of a group literally called the "HELLFIRE CLUB" (Jason and most of Hawkins are likely christian.)

Jul 2, 2022 · While Jason does have an understandable motive, normal people do NOT behave the way that Jason did during this season, spearheading a witch hunt against a D&D club. We also don't see any of Jason's backstory that helps explain this behavior - at least with Billy we got a montage about his life in California, and we saw how awful his dad was and it explained where he got that sort of behavior from.

Sending his boy to chase down Erica, a 12 year old girl, which led to his friend threatening to break her arms, pulling a gun on Lucas and beating the shit out of him and being completely oblivious to the fact that Max was lifting.
