The golf tournaments at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 1 to 10 August at Le Golf National in Guyancourt, featuring a total of 120 players (60 per gender) across two medal events.
Golf is officially recognized as first featuring in the Summer Olympic Games programme in 1900 and 1904, although the 1900 events were not regarded as being part of the games at the time. A golf tournament was to have been held in 1908, but it was cancelled less than two days before it was scheduled to start. [1]

The Olympic Golf Rankings (OGR) reached its cutoff point on 17 June 2024 for the men’s rankings, where the top 60 men’s players through the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) are eligible for Paris 2024*.
