1 day ago · The Planets, Op. 32, is a seven- movement orchestral suite by the English composer Gustav Holst, written between 1914 and 1917. In the last movement the orchestra is joined by a wordless female chorus. Each movement of the suite is named after a planet of the Solar System and its supposed astrological character.
Jul 30, 2024 · 概要. 前作まで続いていたオムニバス方式によるアルバム制作が終了し、1人の作曲家の曲でアルバムを制作する、という初期のスタイルに戻った作品。 本作は モーリス・ラヴェル の楽曲が題材となっている。 また、『惑星』以来続いていた、「宇宙」というテーマから、初期の「ファンタジー」というテーマに戻ったとも言える。 なお「ボレロ」は当時の主流であったLPレコードの収録時間（約54分）の限界に収めるために原曲より短縮されている。 本来はCD-4方式LPによる4チャンネル音響作品として制作された。 LPレコードジャケットのイラストレーション： 磯野宏夫. 収録曲目.
