In case your LED device is not working or shows as being disabled in the Dashboard or Remote Control, check Hyperion's log for errors first!
Feb 18, 2024 · I tried to install latest libreelec and latest Hyperion, but apparently that doesn’t work with internal grabber. now I try to revert back to libreelec 10.0.4 with Hyperion 2.0.15 but how do I install the previous version? in 2.0.16 I can't seem to select the X11 frame grabber.
May 6, 2018 · In addition you can control the esp standalone with the hyperion app. There already is a german tutorial here. Hardware You will need an ESP8266 or ESP32. This can be am embedden module on a NodeMCU or LOLIN32, too. Obviously you will need some LEDs and a power supply. This should be similar to hyperion, so you should be familiar with that.

Per Hyperion 2.0.13, the Hyperion-WLED device makes use of the Distributed Display Protocol (Requires WLED v0.11.0+). As a fall-back option the UDP-Raw protocol (limitations) is still supported, too. Mar 8, 2022 · That's why I decided to create this very simple and easy to use (and setup) Android app. It's called 'Hyperion LED Control' and does just that. Two huge buttons: one to turn the strip on, one to turn it off. The only thing you would need to do is set up the right IP address and port in the Settings section of the app.
