Brighton seems to be one of the better new universities though and it's a lovely place so you would probably have a great time there, the two people I know who went there both really enjoyed it. S. Both university campus' are like a 10/20 minute walk from one another, so socially they are essentially the same university and intergrate a lot. Susssex is much better academically, closer to the centre of Brighton and the accommodation seemed a lot better. I stayed at the Falmer campus of Brighton university and the flats where we lived weren't good. It was in 2007 so it could have changed, but Sussex seemed a lot better when I visited about a month ago.
