Raffles Institution ( RI) is an independent educational institution in Singapore. Founded in 1823, it is the oldest school in the country. It provides secondary education for boys only from Year 1 to Year 4, and pre-university education for both boys and girls in Year 5 and Year 6.
We play hard and work hard in the Boarding House at Eagle House. Each year group has a dedicated study session every evening with boarding staff on hand to offer help and guidance as prep or additional reading is completed.

Open Mornings give you the chance to have a look around the school and speak to teachers and meet pupils. An open morning begins with a welcome from the Head, a tour around the school with one of our senior pupils and then a chance to meet staff over coffee and cake.
