Elcho Island, known to its traditional owners as Galiwin'ku (Galiwinku) is an island off the coast of Arnhem Land, in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is located at the southern end of the Wessel Islands group located in the East Arnhem Region.

Galiwin'ku is an Aboriginal community on Elcho Island, which developed out of a Methodist mission established in 1947. Drawn from 17 clans of North East Arnhem Land, it is the largest community in the region, having some 2,500 residents.
