  6. Innis College offers courses that sustain two interdisciplinary academic programs: Urban Studies (designated URB) and Writing and Rhetoric (designated WRR). Innis College is also the home of the Cinema Studies Institute, which offers an impressive collection of courses (designated CIN) listed separately under Cinema Studies Institute.

  7. Innis College. Population: 2,200. History: Founded in 1964, Innis is one of the newer colleges. The only college to be named after a professor at the University of Toronto, political economist Harold Innis, Innis College has had three different homes on campus.
