May 27, 2022 · USC Adds A Quarterback. Jake Jensen, a quarterback from Contra Costa College, has committed to USC. He originally committed to BYU in 2019 and took a two-year Mormon mission. His mission was cut short by COVID-19 and he went to Contra Costa. Jensen committed to New Mexico on May 14 but switched once USC starting recruiting him this week.

The former Cougars quarterback committed to and signed with New Mexico on May 23 after entering the transfer portal. But Jensen has had a change of heart after being awarded the opportunity to suit up for Lincoln Riley at USC; where he can learn a great deal from the offensive-minded head coach.
