LaMotta rallied furiously in the 9th, 10th, and 11th rounds. "The fight followed the usual pattern (of the previous four fights between the two), Robinson flashing style in the early heats, then coasting when he could. Jake set out in pursuit at the opening bell and bored in with bulldog tenacity throughout."
