The Hotels Licensing Board (HLB) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB), provides the secretariat services for HLB. Established under the Hotels Act, HLB is empowered to administer the regulatory framework for the hotel industry.

Hotels Licensing Board. 3.— (1) There shall be established a Hotels Licensing Board consisting of a chairman and 4 other members, to be appointed by the Minister. (2) The chairman and every member of the Board shall hold office for a period of 3 years from the date of appointment. (3) The Minister may, at any time, revoke any such appointment.
