Merko is a worldwide processor of tomatoes, which now have become an important raw material for the food industry. Our company, proud of serving its customers and suppliers for 40 years, produces tomato paste and diced tomatoes for industrial use.
Merko was founded in 1982 by Duncan Blake, Hakkı Severge and Cemal Mersinli. Our company went public on October 6, 1994, after it proved itself especially abroad by expanding its research on tomatoes and making successful decisions. Tomato paste production started in 1995 at the Tepecik factory.
Our factory has a production capacity of 20,000 tons of aseptic tomato paste in aseptic barrels or aseptic BINS packages, and 15,000 tons of Diced tomato in aseptic barrels, aseptic BINS packages or tin packages.
