Yuji Moriyama (森山 雄治, Moriyama Yūji, January 6, 1960) is a Japanese anime director, animator, animation supervisor and character designer from Tokyo. He is a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA). He won the fourth Japan Anime Awards in the Animation Director category.
His representative work was the Noisy Stars, which attracted immense popularity from fans for its charming portrayal of Lamu, and was so popular that it split the Endo Asami faction and the Moriyama Yuji faction.
