Jonás Cuarón Elizondo (born 1981) is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, producer, editor and cinematographer. He is the son of the Academy Award -winner Alfonso Cuarón and his first wife, Mariana Elizondo.
Jonás Cuarón was born on 21 May 1983 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He is a director and writer, known for Gravity (2013), Desierto (2015) and Año uña (2007). He has been married to Eireann Harper since 2007.

In 1996, scientist Richard Quinn is hunting down the chupacabra, a supposedly mythical creature, in San Javier.
