Derek Connolly (born c. 1976) is an American screenwriter and film producer. He is best known for his collaborations with filmmaker Colin Trevorrow, and has written the films Safety Not Guaranteed and the Jurassic World trilogy, which is a part of the Jurassic Park franchise.

Derek Connolly (born c. 1976 in Miami, Florida) is an American screenwriter and film producer, mostly known for his collaborations with director Colin Trevorrow on the films Safety Not Guaranteed, Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Prof Connolly undertakes and can access all the modern investigation and tools for the investigation of heart disease. He has personally undertaken over 10000 investigations and implanted over 4000 stents.
Dr Derek Connolly is a Consultant Cardiologist and the Director of Research and Development at Birmingham City Hospital and Sandwell Hospital. He was on the original design and naming team of the forthcoming super hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital which will open 2024.
