Lee Zahler (August 14, 1893 – February 21, 1947) was an American composer and musical director of films, starting in the 1920s and well into the 1940s. During his career, he composed the music to the 1943 Batman and The Phantom serials for Columbia studios.
Lee Zahler began his show business career working for a New York music publishing house and as professional piano player. By 1933 he was credited with having over two hundred and fifty of his original tunes adapted for the cinema.

Lee Zahler was born August 14, 1893 in New York City. His father, although a pattern designer in the garment business, encouraged Lee in his musical studies. His first professional work was for a New York music publisher and as a theatrical piano player.
