May 23, 2019 · On May 23, the board of Sydney’s Carriageworks announced the appointment of Blair French as the art precinct’s new chief executive officer, replacing Lisa Havilah. French is a New Zealand native, who moved to Australia in the mid-1990s.

May 23, 2019 · Carriageworks, a major multidisciplinary arts center in Sydney, has announced that Blair French, the director of curatorial and digital at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Australia, will join the venue as its new chief executive officer. He succeeds Euan Upston and will assume his responsibilities in August.
