Patricia Ann Jellicoe OBE (15 July 1927 – 31 August 2017) was an English playwright, theatre director and actress. Although her work covered many areas of theatre and film, she is best known for "pushing the envelope" of the stage play, devising new forms which challenge and delight unconventional audiences.
Ann Jellicoe is an English playwright and theatrical director who's best known for her 1962 play "The Knack", which was adapted into the 1965 film The Knack... and How to Get It (1965) by director Richard Lester, and for promoting the idea of "community plays".
