The latter was launched by ex-Channel 4 drama chief Gub Neal in 2020 and is supported by French producer and distributor Newen.

BAFTA winning producer Hal Vogel is founder and CEO of Slate Entertainment, part of the Ringside Media Group, which he set up in 2021. Previously Hal ran Daybreak Pictures, a multi award winning production company which he co-founded in 2006 with former Film 4 Exec David Aukin.
Exclusive: Daybreak Pictures founders David Aukin and Hal Vogel have exited the Tinopolis Group scripted producer, with the latter launching a new venture with Ringside Media, the investment vehicle backed by France’s Newen.
Hal Vogel was born in 1971. He is a producer and actor, known for Britz (2007), The Promise (2011) and True History of the Kelly Gang (2019).
