Pfaltzgraff, Jr., who held the distinguished position of the Shelby Cullom Davis Professor of International Security Studies at The Fletcher School, and, for half a century, served as a pillar of the Fletcher faculty.
Robert L. Pfaltzgraff Jr. is a political scientist specialized in security policy, international relations theory and crisis management. He entered the Fletcher Faculty in 1970, and is the Shelby Cullom Davis Professor of International Security Studies at Fletcher.
