    "Elevator Hum" is a song by Declan McKenna from his third major-label album, What Happened to the Beach?, appearing as the second track on digital versions and the third track on physical versions. It was released as the album's third single on 30 November 2023.

    Declan unveiled a portion of the song acoustically in a TikTok on 20 November 2023, falsely advertising it as a full-length version of his viral "Slipping Through My Fingers" cover. A studio version of the same excerpt was shared in another TikTok on 24 November, alongside footage from recording sessions for What Happened to the Beach?.

    The song's title and track number were discovered by Discord member @pichi_sp while playing The Beach on 23 November 2023.[ref needed] It was subsequently revealed as the third official single from What Happened to the Beach? (replacing "The Phantom Buzz (Kick In)") on 27 November.
