Mario Landi (12 October 1920 – 18 March 1992) was an Italian director known for his giallo movies such as Giallo a Venezia and his television series Le inchieste del commissario Maigret.
Biografia. Laureato in giurisprudenza, nel 1944 si diploma all' Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica di Roma, e cura la regia di diverse opere teatrali fra cui la farsa moderna Apocalisse a Capri di Sergio Sollima, interpretata da Mario Scaccia e da una debuttante Delia Scala.
Mario Landi was born on 12 October 1920 in Messina, Sicily, Italy. He was a director and writer, known for Siamo tutti Milanesi (1953), Maigret à Pigalle (1966) and Supersexymarket (1979). He died on 18 March 1992 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
