Zero Set is the only album by the German electronic music trio of Dieter Moebius, Conny Plank, and Mani Neumeier. It followed two collaborations by Moebius & Plank as a duo. Zero Set was recorded in September, 1982 at Conny's Studio outside Cologne, and released by Sky Records in 1983.

The third album, Zero Set, which added Guru Guru drummer Mani Neumeier, was heavily influenced by African music . History. 1969–1979 Kluster and Cluster. From 1969 until 1971 Moebius was a member of the pioneering experimental Krautrock band Kluster based in Berlin, together with Conrad Schnitzler and Hans-Joachim Roedelius.
Quick backstory: in 1983, Cluster's Dieter Moebius, Guru Guru's Manfred Neumeier and Kraftwerk producer Conny Plank collaborated on Zero Set, an album of squawky, skronky oscillations and powerful funk drumming that still sounds ahead of its time.
