Alexis Mickael Wajsbrot is a French film director, producer, and visual effects supervisor best known for his 2016 horror film Don't Hang Up . Wajsbrot's directorial debut was the short film Red Balloon, [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] a 13-minute thriller, which he co-directed.

Alexis joined Framestore in 2009 as a Lead FX TD on Mike Newell’s Prince of Persia, painstakingly creating (and then destroying) the CG ‘sand room’. As FX Supervisor on Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity, Alexis lead the team’s development and implementation of new proprietary software.
