Very Good. LP...$23.99. Live set by the great Chicago bassist, recorded at the London House, with a piano trio though the rest of the personnel aren't listed. Though Pate is more well known for his later work, these early sides have a nice south side jazz feel to them. Cuts are short and lively, with a good club feel. ...
