Running Turtle (Korean: 거북이 달린다; RR: Geobuki dalinda) is a 2009 South Korean film about a countryside detective trying to capture a legendary prison breaker. Released on June 11, 2009, it was directed by Lee Yeon-woo and starred Kim Yoon-seok and Jung Kyung-ho.
Jo Pil-Seong ( Kim Yun-Seok) is a detective in the small county of Yeosan, Chungnam. One day, an escapee from prison named Song Ki-Tae ( Jung Kyoung-Ho) enters the small county. The escapee then proceeds to steal the detective's honor, reputation, and self-respect.

Jo Pil-seong, a rural detective, is an unhappy husband, often blamed by his older wife for gambling. Despite her being hard on him, he steals money from her to bet on bull butting.
