Michael Emlyn Young (born 16 October 1945) is a Welsh Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning producer. He is the founder of two animation companies in both the UK and the US. His company in 2015 changed its name from Mike Young Productions to Splash Entertainment, which also is a majority owner of Popular AVOD network Kabillion.
Mike Young is the co-founder and partner of Splash Entertainment (originally Mike Young Productions). His first venture into animation came in 1980 when his children's books based on a crime fighting Teddy bear "SuperTed," became a hit TV series worldwide.

The main character, Norm the polar bear, heads to New York to fight a tourism development of his homeland in the Arctic. Although the film didn’t have a big budget, the film used the latest computer generated imagery (CGI) technology.
