Andre Matthias took private piano and composition lessons before studying Musicology at the University of Hamburg. An avid fan of film music since the age of 12, he composed his first scores for the Hamburg University Players.
MÜLLER Andre Matthias. Trained as a sport scientist in Germany, Dr Andre’s research and teaching focuses on promoting healthy movement behaviours such as physical activity. He has a particular interest in e- & mHealth approaches but is also interested in multilevel strategies.

Hamburg-based composer ANDRE MATTHIAS 安名士 is internationally acclaimed for his work in film music. Having studied systematic and historical musicology at the University of Hamburg, Matthias has composed scores for numerous shorts and features in Germany and Hong Kong.
