James Edmiston was born in Edinburgh in 1943. He was educated at Rugby School, and Brasenose College Oxford where he read law. Following a good grounding in production engineering, he ran the world renowned Sterling Armament Company for 12 years, with a degree of success that he claims was entirely due to his various colleagues and loyal employees.

Apr 22, 2023 · The incident, captured on the officer’s body-worn camera, left the victim in stable condition, police said. The District Attorney’s Office said it does not anticipate charging the officer, identified by police as James Edmiston, a 15-year veteran of the force assigned to the 14th District.
