Joseph Rein: father, husband, writer, professor, runner/bicyclist/light weight trainer, and coffee/gin/whiskey aficionado. Father: I have four young, beautiful, and rambunctious children who are the absolute best thing in this world and the most intense source of frustration and sleeplessness.
Joseph Rein writes and reads all genres, but has recently gravitated toward technothrillers and science fiction, with his new series Youtopia beginning in 2024. His short story collection, Roads without Houses (Press 53, 2018), was a finalist for the Press 53 Prize in Fiction and the Holy Cow!
Mar 13, 2024 · UW-River Falls English professor Joseph Rein will release his upcoming sci-fi thriller novel, YOUtopia, this April. Rein originally planned to publish YOUtopia as a standalone novel, but was offered a deal that resulted in the book becoming a trilogy.
