Marcel Gisler (born 18 March 1960) is a Swiss film director and screenwriter. Life. Marcel Gisler was raised in the Canton of St. Gallen. Since 1981 he lives in Berlin [1] and studied Theatre studies and Philosophy at the Free University of Berlin when he founded the «cinéma copain» Filmgroup.

Director Marcel Gisler was born in 1960 in Altstätten, Switzerland. He studied drama and philosophy at the Freie Universität Berlin. From 1999 to 2008, he was a visiting lecturer at different film schools (École supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Genève, École cantonale d’art de Lausanne, and F+F School for Art and Media Design Zurich).
