Stricken with a violent headache, Wesley Stuart, son of a wealthy New Orleans family, leaves the home of his fiance, Susan, soon after they make love. Overcome by guilt, Susan goes to church, where she is brutally murdered as she makes her confession.
That night at the Stuart home, Wesley dreams about Angelle and awakens in a cold sweat. As Dr. Moss tries to find his patient, his hand is sliced off and he is murdered with a meat cleaver. Wesley, extremely agitated, visits Angelle and tries to become intimate.
