2018-2021: Pre-debut
Jinni also appeared in JYP Trainee Mini Showcase 2018 alongside Lily, Haewon, and Kyujin; JYP Trainee Mini Showcase 2019 alongside Lily, Haewon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin. On August 6, 2021, Jinni, along with Jiwoo and Kyujin, were revealed as the first three members of NMIXXthrough a dance performance video.
2022: Debut with NMIXX, departure from the group
Jinni officially debuted with the group on February 22, 2022, with their first single album AD MARE. She participated in the group's first comeback with the second single album ENTWURFon September 19, 2022. On December 9, 2022, JYP Entertainment announced that Jinni would be departing from NMIXX due to personal reasons and her contract with the agency has been terminated.
2023-Present: Solo activities, joining UAP, solo debut
Three months after her departure, Jinni opened her Instagram account on March 18, 2023. On April 14, it was reported by news outlet Sports Kyunghyang that Jinni had signed an exclusive contract with a new agency called UAP and that they had signed a management MOU collaboration with SUBLIME to manage her activities on their behalf, which SUBLIME later confirmed. Dec 9, 2022 · Choi Yun Jin, who we knew better as Jinnie decided to leave NMIXX. She entered JYP Entertainment in 2016 when she was only 13 years old in Korean age. She had to train herself for 6 long years to debut. We saw her shine in the studio and on stage with her girl group.
