Peter Kam Pui-Tat (Chinese: 金培達; pinyin: Jīn péidá, born August 23, 1961) is a music composer for Hong Kong films including The Warlords, Bodyguards and Assassins and Dragon. Kam is an eight-time winner at the Hong Kong Film Awards .

Peter Kam Pau-Tat. Biography. Peter Kam’s father was a nightclub piano teacher of Shanghai descent. In 1974 family moved from Hong Kong to America, and Peter studied in San Francisco State University. After graduating in 1987, he stayed there to compose gospel music for the North American Chinese Christian Music Association.
