Giulio Carmassi has been experimenting with pretty sounds and grooves since he dropped out of school in his native Tuscany, at 14. After living in Paris and NY he’s now based in Los Angeles. He’s collected almost 2.5 million views on youtube before recording the album “Kin”, in 2014, with 20 time grammy award winner Pat Metheny .

Giulio Carmassi graduated in Viticultural and Oenological Sciences at the Universities of Pisa and Turin. In 2013, after some years of professional training in Tuscany and the United States, he joined the Gagliole Team.
Together with Giulio Carmassi, our agronomist/enologist, he is also responsible for the production of our wines and olive oil. Not only was Cesare’s father already an enologist in Poggibonsi, but Cesare himself tended for many years the wine cellars of Teruzzi & Puthod in San Gimignano.
