After graduating as a photo and film designer, Michael Souvignier started working as a camera man and producer. In 1985 he founded his production company Zeitsprung Pictures in Cologne. The company has a second office in Munich and produces movies for cinema and TV, serial fiction and documentation.
Michael Souvignier achieved a particular success with the Sat.1 two-parter Das Wunder von Lengede, which was the most successful event production on German television with a rate of 36.2% in the target group and a total of 11 million viewers.
