The Big Bird Cage (1972) Recommendation. I just watched The Big Bird Cage, Jack Hill's 1972 "women in prison" exploitation film starring Pam Grier (Coffy, Jackie Brown) and Sid Haig (The Devil's Rejects, Jackie Brown) and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

Grier and Haig are thieving mercenaries who engineer a prison break from the outside. Terry, a social-climbing young woman, accidentally gets caught up in the activities of two revolutionaries, Blossom and Django, and finds herself in a concentration camp for women.
