Nov 2, 2022 · The Second City comedy theater announced the passing of Andrew Duncan, who played Jim Carr in the 1977 sports comedy. Duncan was a founding member of the theater and a veteran of films and TV shows, including "Love Story".
Dr Duncan is a senior lecturer in statistics and data-centric engineering at Imperial College London and a group leader at the Alan Turing Institute. His research interests are at the interface of applied probability, computational statistics and machine learning, with a focus on industrial applications.
