Scott has numerous indie feature film producing credits, and holds an MFA in screenwriting from UCLA, a BS in radio/TV/film from Northwestern University, and is currently a tenured Professor of screenwriting, playwriting and film studies at San Jose State University in California, but teaches remotely from his apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where he lives with his blind cat.
