Jonathan Mark Macpherson began his music education at the age of 7 when he learned to played the cornet in his primary school brass band. He completed his ABRSM Grade 8 with Distinction in 2013 with the help of Lynette Teo, who gave him the confidence to apply for the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Diploma in voice.
Jonathan Macpherson has worked as a print journalist, a teacher of English as a second language and a film maker. In 2016 he realeased his first novel Brazen Violations, and followed it up with Outback Creed, and then began a series of children's books entitled Rotto!
